Want to save money on your broadband bills? Sky (www.Sky.com) is offering three months free connection on its Unlimited broadband package.

The deal is available to all new customers also taking line rental and home phone calls from Sky, offering a saving of up to £30 over three months.

Sky’s Unlimited tariff comes with speeds of up to 20Mb broadband, and is one of the UK’s only unlimited broadband broadband packages, with no fair usage policy or traffic management – even on peer-to-peer downloads.

Customers will only be eligible for the free broadband promotion, which is available until 3 February 2011, if they opt for Sky Talk line rental and a calls package. Sky line rental is going up to £11.25 a month on 4 January in line with the new VAT rate.

Sky Talk Freetime doesn’t cost any extra and offers unlimited evening and weekend calls, while Sky Talk Unlimited, which gives you inclusive anytime calls, will cost you an extra £5 a month.

Michael Phillips, product director at Broadbandchoices.co.uk said: “New customers signing up to Sky broadband now have the choice of whether they take Sky TV as part of their bundle.

“If you want to make the most of everything that Sky has to offer though, a bundle including satellite TV will give you access to a great range of programmes as well as over 50 high-definition channels – cutting the cost of your Unlimited broadband to just £7.50 a month once this deal has ended,” he explained.

If you choose only to take broadband, home phone and line rental, then your Unlimited broadband package will cost you £10 a month after the promotional period.
